Health Experts Advisory Center (HEAC)
In 2004, CCSi established its Federal Health Services Business Unit, and since that time, has provided expert-level consulting services to the Military Health System (MHS), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). Parallel to our organizational growth during this period has been an exponential increase in the depth and breadth of the health-related consulting services we provide, and in the number and type of subject matter expert (SME)-level staff that we offer.
Our HEAC exchanges information and ideas via in-person meetings,
interactive webcasts, and within CCSi's program management information
system, and leverages our electronic reference library as the document
repository for presentations, journal and web articles, research documents
and notes, and other related documentation. As well, the electronic
reference library provides a ready list of identified members with
an interest and expertise in a particular area.
